Our shawls are delicate, ultra lightweight and created from a natural fibre. We would recommend hand washing your shawl for continued softness and longevity. Our shawls can also be professionally dry cleaned, however due to the chemicals used in the dry-cleaning process cashmere fibres will breakdown over time.
Hand wash your cashmere shawl using a gentle baby shampoo or laundry liquid specified for woollens.
Soak in soapy lukewarm water (30℃) for 5 minutes, then gently press the suds through the fibres.
Do not wring, rub or twist your shawl.
Gently rinse in clean lukewarm water (30℃) until the water runs clear.
Fold the shawl over and over in order to expel excess water. Do not wring.
Lay flat on a towel and let the shawl dry naturally, away from sunlight.
The shawls can be ironed on very low heat. Please make sure to place a cloth between the iron and the shawl.
In case of stains, please seek professional advise from a dry cleaner.
DO NOT MACHINE WASH, TUMBLE DRY OR BLEACH.
Most of our bags are lined, which helps to prolong their longevity. However, like your favourite woollen sweater, over time the fibres may stretch and give a little. Like any woollen item, pilling can also occur. This is perfectly normal.
Our recommendation is not to overload your bag with heavy or large items.
If your bag gets dirty, please do not machine wash or tumble dry. Gently hand wash with mild laundry detergent in COLD water. Do not rub or agitate as the fibres will felt and cannot be repaired. Rinse well until the water runs clear and lay flat to dry away from sunlight, as this might discolour your bag.
Alternatively, simply bring to the dry-cleaners for a professional finish.
With time, our leather products will soften and become more supple. With constant use, the natural oils on your hands should be enough to maintain the conditioning in the products. If you notice your product becoming a little dry, please use a leather conditioner to revive it to its original state.
